Every Discipline. One Wild Weekend.

From door-to-door drifting to full-tilt road racing to rally action, demonstrations, and even putting your own car on track during HyperDrives and TrackCross; this is motorsports turned all the way up. PATRIOT COURSE

DRIFTING

Three straight days of tire smoke, limiter bouncing, and zero chill. Drifting at HyperFest doesn’t tiptoe, it kicks the door in. Whether you’re throwing down in tandem or gripping the fence while cars go door-to-door, this is one of the wildest drift weekends on the East Coast. Ride-alongs, drift games, and a few surprises we’re cooking up… because behaving was never the plan.

DIRT WORLD

OFF-ROAD

Spend the weekend slinging mud, crawling rocks, and putting your 4x4 to the test in Dirt World. From the Dan River Trails to the Upper and Lower Obstacle & Boulder Courses by SAREK Autowerke, plus the Mud Pit and Track Time Trials Course, this isn’t a parking-lot flex, it’s 1,300+ acres of dirt-flying freedom at VIR.

Our off-road crew from SAREK Autowerke and Racing for Heroes will guide you through trails, obstacles, and terrain that separate the pavement princesses from the real builds. And yes, your friends and family can strap in too. Kids 8+ can ride along on the slower courses, and riders 16+ (with a parent/guardian onsite) can tackle the faster, more technical stuff. This is where clean trucks come to get baptized in mud.

TOYO TIRES HFGT

The Toyo Tires HyperFest Grand Touring (HFGT) is where NASA’s proven rules and classification standards meet the kind of show-stopping intensity HyperFest is known for. Built to bridge the gap between amateur and professional sports car racing, HFGT is where drivers don’t just compete, they announce themselves. One series. One run group. No traffic. Just pure, uninterrupted racing.

For 2026, the Toyo Tires HFGT expands to a six-race championship across five premier NASA weekends with Round 3 taking place during at HyperFest. Every race stands alone. Every lap counts. And when HFGT hits the track at prime time on Saturday at HyperFest, it’s simple: one group, one spotlight, one winner.

BFGOODRICH TIRES SIDE-BY-SIDE DRIVE EXPERIENCE

This time, you’re not riding shotgun, you’re in the driver’s seat. Take the wheel of a high-performance side-by-side built to dominate dirt, rocks, and everything in between. With a Racing for Heroes (RFH) instructor in the right seat coaching you through it, you’ll learn how to maximize traction, throttle control, and the full off-road capability of BFGoodrich Tires on a purpose-built course in Dirt World. Expect quick transitions, loose surfaces, and that addictive feeling when the rear rotates just enough to make you grin.

Each experience runs approximately 15 minutes, plenty of time to get comfortable, get confident, and get a little dirty. Drivers must be 16+ with a valid driver’s license. Drivers ages 16–17 must have a parent or legal guardian onsite and complete a minor waiver. Helmet on. Foot down. Your turn to send it.

MAPERFORMANCE SKID PAD

RTR VEHICLES DRIFT DEMO

When RTR Vehicles rolls onto the MAPerformance Skid Pad in front of the Fun-Haver booth, it’s not a casual demo, it’s a statement.

Watch two-time Formula DRIFT Champion Vaughn Gittin Jr. and Formula DRIFT ProSpec Champion Ben Hobson unleash their Ford Mustang RTR Spec 5-D machines in a smoke-heavy, tire-shredding showcase of precision and power. Expect tight transitions, door-to-door proximity, limiter bouncing, and the kind of controlled aggression that made these drivers champions.

This is American horsepower at full lock, loud, sideways, and unapologetic. When the RTR Mustangs fire up, the Skid Pad turns into a smoke-filled arena. If you want to see drifting at its highest level, this is the moment.

Get there early. Stand back. Feel it in your chest.

MAPERFORMANCE SKID PAD

TWINSTUNTS STUNT BIKES

When Twinstunts hit the Skid Pad, it’s double the throttle and zero hesitation.

The professional Yamaha-sponsored twin brothers Sawyer and Shannon bring their high-energy, synchronized motorcycle stunt show to HyperFest with tandem wheelies, smoke-filled burnouts, razor-sharp precision riding, and acrobatics that feel one heartbeat away from impossible. Riding their purpose-built Yamaha MT-07 stunters, these two don’t just perform, they mirror each other at speed, inches apart, in perfectly timed chaos.

This isn’t a casual stunt demo. It’s throttle control, balance, trust, and serious skill on full display. If you hear engines revving and the crowd starting to roar, get to the Skid Pad fast, because when the twins roll out, you won’t want to miss a second.

NASA ROAD RACING

If wheel-to-wheel racing gets your pulse up, NASA’s competition road racing program is where you belong. This is real racing; late braking, tight passes, and chasing apexes lap after lap against drivers who came to win. From production sedans and stock cars to purpose-built formula machines, there’s a class for just about anything with four wheels and a driver ready to push it.

No competition license yet? No problem. NASA offers racing schools designed to get you qualified and on the grid. Already racing somewhere else? Bring it. NASA welcomes drivers from other recognized sanctioning bodies and accepts licenses from many organizations. If you’re ready to stop watching and start battling, this is your starting line.

DIRT WORLD

RALLY

HyperFest Rally isn’t just another event on the calendar; it’s your chance to put dirt under the tires and real miles in the seat. Teams use it to fine-tune competition builds before the next big race, dial in setups, grab content, and get real face time with fans and sponsors. It’s testing, marketing, and pure driving time all rolled into one dusty weekend.

Whether you’re a seasoned competitor shaking the rust off or a first-timer ready to send it, HyperFest Rally gives you the space to push, adjust, and improve. More seat time. More smiles. More stories to tell when the helmet comes off.

HPDE

If you are interested in learning the basics of High Performance Driving, or simply want to drive your car on a racetrack in a controlled and professionally staffed environment, then HPDE is for you. HPDE gives drivers a chance to test their skills and learn from NASA’s cadre of experienced instructors in a venue designed for safe spirited driving far away from the risks present on the street. NASA’s HPDE program has become the standard for the open track industry and features multiple skill levels to ensure that drivers are able to enjoy a safe and fun day at the track.

MAPERFORMANCE SKID PAD

DRIFT HQ DEMO

If you like your drifting loud, tight, and right in your face, the Drift HQ Demo is your spot. Multiple times per day on Friday and Saturday, the MAPerformance Skid Pad turns into a smoke-filled arena where the Drift HQ drivers throw down inches apart in controlled chaos.

Expect rapid transitions, screaming rev limiters, and clouds of tire smoke so thick you’ll taste it. This isn’t a casual cruise, it’s precision, aggression, and style packed into a tight space where every flick of the wheel counts. If you’re anywhere near the Skid Pad when this fires up, you’ll know.

Show up early. It gets crowded for a reason.

PATRIOT COURSE

TRACK CROSS

TrackCross is where autocross grows up and moves to the racetrack. It blends the precision of cone-chasing with the speed and flow of real road racing; set on a twisty section of VIR’s permanent course instead of a parking lot. It’s faster, more dynamic, and way more addictive.

You’ll run solo against the clock, attacking technical corners without the pressure of wheel-to-wheel traffic. That means you can focus on improving lines, braking points, and throttle control while safely exploring what your car can really do. Whether you’re brand new or sharpening your skills, TrackCross is affordable, approachable, and just competitive enough to keep you chasing that next faster lap.

PATRIOT COURSE

HYPERDRIVE

HyperDRIVE is where track dreams turn into first laps. Sanctioned by NASA, this hugely popular intro program gives new drivers a safe, simple, and affordable way to get their car off the street and onto real racetrack asphalt. No intimidation, no pressure. Just you, your car, and the start of something addictive.

Before you hit the gas, you’ll attend a quick classroom session covering basics like car setup, driving techniques, and track flags; while your car gets a safety check to make sure it’s ready to roll. Then it’s time for the Patriot Course at VIR: 12 turns, 1.1 miles, elevation changes, and just enough challenge to hook you from lap one. This is where confidence builds, nerves fade, and the track bug bites hard.

MAPERFORMANCE SKID PAD

DRIFT GAMES

Think you’ve got style? Now prove it.

Friday evening, the Skid Pad turns into a sideways playground for a limited group of drivers ready to trade lap times for bragging rights. From Drift Soccer (yes, scoring goals with your rear tire) to the Monster Energy Drink Challenge(drift one-handed without spilling) to Hard Park (precision sliding inches from a wall of boxes), this is skill, style, and controlled ridiculousness all rolled into one.

Space is limited to about 15 drivers, and sign-ups happen Saturday morning. It’s not about points., it’s about flair, finesse, and pulling off something the crowd won’t forget.

Send it. Or spill it. Either way, we’re watching.

TIME ATTACK / TIME TRIAL

Prefer chasing lap times over trading paint? NASA Time Trial (Time Attack) at HyperFest is where precision meets pressure. It’s you, your car, and the clock; pushing for that perfect lap where every braking point, every apex, and every throttle input matters.

With nine competitive classes and a nationwide field of serious drivers, NASA TT is built for those who measure success in tenths of a second. Drivers compete for awards, prizes, and bragging rights; but safety always comes first. The path starts in HPDE, where you build the skills needed to earn your National TT license and step into real competition. If you’re wired to hunt lap times instead of doors, this is your battlefield.
