HyperFest and the National Auto Sport Association (NASA) are proud to welcome back the Toyo Tires HyperFest Grand Touring (HFGT) for its second full season, building on two previous years of competition at HyperFest. Grounded in NASA’s CCR and classification standards, HFGT takes a proven ruleset and injects it with the kind of flair, intensity, and edge that make HyperFest what it is.
From the beginning, HyperFest was built to be more than just another race weekend. It was built to be an experience. HFGT carries that same spirit forward by creating a place where amateur and professional-style sports car racing come closer together, with the kind of action, atmosphere, and personality that make people want to be part of it.
For our second full year of HFGT, we have expanded to a six race schedule spread across five NASA weekends! We are thankful to be partnering with the Florida, Northeast, and Southeast regions to expand HyperFest GT. All races will be individual races (no other race classes on track) and will count towards the HFGT championship points.

HFGT Headlines Saturday.
Catch the Toyo Tires HFGT at its absolute best on Saturday at HyperFest, when this stacked class gets its own dedicated run group during prime time. No getting buried in traffic. No blending into a crowded field. Just one series, one spotlight, and one driver leaving with the win.
For fans, that means a cleaner, more exciting show. For drivers, it means the attention this class deserves. As HFGT founder Jack Cobetto puts it: “Coming from someone who has raced in NASA since I was 16 years old, sharing the track with other groups can be challenging with traffic, but it can also limit visibility for the drivers when there are so many classes on track. It will be nice to see drivers get their own group and really get out in that spotlight.”
BATTLE READY, DRIVER BACKED.
Toyo Tires HFGT is bringing the heat to HyperFest with one dedicated group built for close battles, great cars, and drivers who came to throw down. No getting lost in a crowded mix. No wasted spotlight. Just hard racing, real camaraderie, and the kind of on-track action that makes the whole weekend hit harder.
“HFGT is the series I've been waiting for. With so many different classes on track these days, it's nice to have one single group to highlight great cars, fast drivers, and amazing camaraderie. No matter where you are on the grid, you will have the time of your life and the greatest battles you've ever had in HFGT. The close racing amongst very different cars will make you a better driver in the process. All the hard work that Chris, Jack, and the rest of their team have done over the past year has paid off and I can't wait to be a part of the HFGT series.”
- Griffin Gamcsik-Uly, BMW M3 / ST4 Racer
BUILT ON ST4. TUNED FOR HFGT.
Toyo Tires HFGT is built off NASA Super Touring 4 rules, with a few added modifiers to shape the competition for HyperFest. That means the foundation is already proven, popular, and easy for drivers to understand. If you are already running an ST4-style car, getting into HFGT is straightforward.
The best part is the flexibility. If your car fits under the ST4 umbrella, or runs in a class with a slower power-to-weight ratio, you may be able to jump into HFGT without changing your car or reworking your paperwork. The links below break down class transfers, HFGT-specific modifiers, and exactly how to apply them. One important note: ST4 cars using additional HFGT modifiers are legal for HFGT only, not ST4.
