More Than Racing. Way More.

From plastic-wheel glory in the KONI Downhill Attack! on an actual racetrack to flexing your pride and joy in the Car Show, HyperFest doesn’t believe in downtime. Go karting, turn the kids loose in the Kid Zone, jump into spectator games, explore the Vendor Midway, and refuel at food trucks, or grab a trackside bite at the Pagoda Grill or settle in for a proper meal at Oak Tree Tavern & Connie’s Pub. Whether you’re competing, cheering, eating, or just wandering into your next favorite moment, this is where the fun refuses to sit still.

FULL COURSE

KONI DOWNHILL ATTACK!

This is where childhood dreams meet questionable adult decisions.

Friday evening, we line up at the top of VIR’s legendary Rollercoaster and send brave competitors hurtling downhill in their finest (or most questionable) yard-sale Power Wheels machines. No motors. No batteries. No mercy. Just gravity, plastic wheels, and pure commitment.

Heat after heat, racers battle for a top-three finish to earn a spot in the Championship showdown. The winner takes home $100, but let’s be honest, it’s not about the cash. It’s about eternal bragging rights, stories you’ll tell forever, and proving you were bold enough to send it when others hesitated.

Participants must be 16+ with a valid state- or government-issued photo ID. Riders ages 16–17 must have a parent or legal guardian onsite and complete a minor waiver.

Plastic wheels. Real consequences. Do you have what it takes?

CAR SHOW CORRAL

HYPERFEST CAR SHOW

The HyperFest Car Show brings together an exceptional collection of standout builds, from meticulously detailed show cars to purpose-built performance machines, lifted 4x4s, and top-tier side-by-sides, all curated into one premier showcase. Set against the backdrop of VIR’s legendary Full Course, this is your opportunity to present your vehicle in front of thousands of passionate enthusiasts.

Compete for distinguished honors including Best in Show, Best Domestic, Best 4x4, Best Euro, Best Import (ADM), Best Modified, and Best SxS (New for 2026). Whether your build is refined, radical, or race-inspired, this is the stage to be recognized.

Each Car Show pass includes a premium display location in the Car Show Corral, positioned just outside the Full Circuit at the base of the bridge to the Infield, an ideal vantage point throughout the weekend. Official judging begins Saturday at 10AM, but your vehicle will be showcased Friday through Sunday.

If you’ve built something special, this is where it belongs.

MAPERFORMANCE SKID PAD

BLIND GOLF CART RACES

It’s back. It’s ridiculous. And it’s one of the most legendary spectator games in HyperFest history.

Grab a fearless friend and take on the Blind Golf Cart Races during Saturday’s Spectator Games on the MAPerformance Skid Pad. One of you drives, completely blindfolded, while the other shouts directions to guide you through a twisting obstacle course. Precision? Maybe. Panic? Absolutely. Communication skills under pressure? You’re about to find out.

This isn’t about speed, it’s about teamwork, trust, and not taking out a cone (or your pride). If you think you’ve got the driver talent and the vocal cords to command your way to victory, step up and prove it.

Participants must be 16+ with a valid state- or government-issued photo ID. Drivers ages 16–17 must have a parent or legal guardian onsite and complete a Minor Waiver.

Trust your partner. Ignore the crowd. Try not to yell.

INFIELD

KID ZONE

For 25 years, brave souls have stepped up to the line, stared down a plate of peppers, and questioned every life choice that led them there.

The Hot Pepper Eating Contest is a HyperFest tradition built on pride, pain tolerance, and absolutely zero backing down. How hot is too hot? There’s only one way to find out. Bring your iron tongue, your strongest stomach, and maybe a little regret, because once the heat hits, there’s no turning back.

Glory awaits. So does the burn.

INFIELD

VENDOR MIDWAY

If you like horsepower, parts, merch, or just cool stuff you didn’t know you needed five minutes ago, the Vendor Midway is your territory.

Wander through a high-energy lineup of brands showcasing everything from performance parts and race gear to apparel, stickers, collectibles, tools, lifestyle goods, and a few surprises that have nothing to do with motorsports, but are awesome anyway. It’s where you meet the people behind the products, see new builds and displays up close, and maybe walk away with something you definitely didn’t plan on buying.

Come for the browsing. Stay for the upgrades. Leave with a lighter wallet and a heavier haul.

VARIOUS LOCATIONS

FOOD TRUCKS

You didn’t think we’d let you run on adrenaline alone, did you?

All weekend long, a fleet of food trucks will be scattered across the venue serving up everything from smoky barbecue and loaded tacos to burgers, sweet treats, and festival favorites that hit the spot between sessions. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite between laps or settling in for a full refuel with your crew, there’s something cooking around every corner.

Follow your nose. Follow the line. Or just wander, because at HyperFest, the next great meal is never far away.

NORTH PADDOCK

PAGODA GRILL

When you need to refuel without losing sight of the action, Pagoda Grill delivers. Perched at the north end of the track, it serves up quick bites, snacks, drinks, and sweet treats with some of the best views in the house. Grab a seat under the covered patio with TVs, stretch out beneath the shade trees, or step onto the raised deck overlooking Turn 3, because at Pagoda, you can recharge and still keep one eye on the racing.

OUTFIELD

OAK TREE TAVERN & CONNIE'S PUB

For a more relaxed pace, make your way to Oak Tree Tavern and turn your race weekend into a full dining experience. Located inside a beautifully restored 1800s plantation house, the Tavern offers a refined atmosphere, a thoughtfully prepared menu, and warm Southern hospitality. Prefer something more casual? Slide into Connie’s Pub for a drink and appetizers, or take in the rolling countryside views from the deck when the weather cooperates.

The historic architecture of the Tavern was crafted by Thomas Day, a celebrated 19th-century furniture maker and cabinetmaker. Born into a free Black family in Dinwiddie County, Virginia, Day became one of North Carolina’s most accomplished and respected craftsmen, operating the state’s largest furniture workshop in the 1850s. His legacy lives on in the building’s distinctive design and enduring craftsmanship, making your visit not just a meal, but a step into living history.

VARIOUS LOCATIONS

CAMPING

Let’s be honest, camping isn’t just part of HyperFest… it is HyperFest.

Waking up to the sound of engines, stepping out of your tent straight into the action, grilling with friends while cars rip past in the distance, this is the magic. Whether you’re rolling in with a car and a tent, bringing the full RV setup, parking trackside where you can see the racing from your campsite, or settling in right in the middle of the festival chaos, there’s a spot that fits your vibe.

VIR turns into a scenic racetrack playground for the weekend, 1300+ acres of rolling hills, shaded corners, open fields, and nonstop energy. Camp close to the party. Camp close to the racing. Or camp somewhere in between. However you do it, once you stay on property, you’ll understand why no one wants to leave.

Sleep when you need to. The weekend never really does.
